‘Dubai, while famous for its grand desert and the magnificent Arabian Gulf, has today become one of the most exciting adventure playgrounds in the world. Whether it’s family fun or hair-raising thrills you’re after, these theme parks can offer guests some of the most thrilling experiences of their life.’


Bollywood Parks Dubai is a first of its kind, showcasing the authentic Bollywood experience. Bollywood is one of the largest centres of film production in the world. The park recreates the Bollywood experience through themed attractions spread across five zones: Bollywood Boulevard, Mumbai Chowk, Rustic Ravine, Royal Plaza and Bollywood Film Studios featuring Hall of Heroes. The park is also home to the stunning 856-seat Rajmahal Theatre that welcomes Broadway-style shows. During the day, the park has up to 11 live shows across different areas.


Having a size of about 28 football fields, IMG Worlds of Adventure features four zones, including one dedicated entirely to dinosaurs. The temperature-controlled indoor park is home to more than 20 rides and attractions, many themed around Marvel comics and Cartoon Network characters. Try the Velociprator rollercoaster, the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in Dubai, which propels guests to 100km in 2.5 seconds from a prehistoric jungle into the desert.


The Middle East’s largest Hollywood-inspired theme park, Motiongate Dubai unites three legendary film studios into one – Columbia Pictures, DreamWorks Animation and Lionsgate. Spread across five zones, guests of all ages will be entertained by 27 key rides and attractions including roller coasters, multimedia dark rides, interactive play labs, mediabased theatre shows, plus a full programme of roaming entertainment and live dance performances. Inspired by 13 of Hollywood’s most beloved live action and animated films, visitors are transported into the world of movies including Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Hotel Transylvania, Ghostbusters, The Smurfs and The Hunger Games.


With temperatures maintained at -2° C, Ski Dubai is a massive space that covers 22,500 sq m, full of snow. Located in the Mall of the Emirates, the facility has five slopes that vary in difficulty, height and gradient. It doesn’t matter if it’s your first time on snow or you’re a seasoned skier, visitors of all skill levels can enjoy these slopes. The longest run here is 400 m long that slopes over 60 m in height. It also has a Freestyle Zone for those fluid in their trade.


Legoland Dubai features over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions and 15,000 Lego model structures made from over 60 million Lego bricks. It features six themed lands, each unique in their experience, entertainment and educational offering. Lego City is the place where children can indulge in activities like flying a plane or steering a boat at the boating school. At Kingdoms, knights and princesses can explore a medieval land and conquer the exhilarating Dragon Coaster, the largest in the park reaching speeds up to 60km p/hour.
