This adventure park houses a flight simulator, a 4D ride, a simulated sports car race and a turbo track apart from their famous rollercoasters! If you love rollercoasters, then try Flying Aces, which features the highest rollercoaster loop in the world.
Must try: Formula Rossa – the fastest rollercoaster in the world. It will send you up with a speed of 240kmph in under 5 seconds and pull you back down just as quickly on a 2km long track!
Beto Carrero World, Brazil
The largest theme park in Latin America boasts of an animal kingdom, a Germanic village, Old West, a pirate’s island and a section dedicated to ‘radical’ attractions. The Darkness portal has scenarios inspired by horror films, a German village coaster that flies over a lake, a Venetian carousel and an inverted rollercoaster!
Must Try: The Big Tower, which is one of the biggest radical towers in the world with a height of 100m!
Silver Dollar City, USA
This Missouri theme park provides a 1880s experience. The coveted ticket includes a tour of the famous Marvel Cave, which is a limestone cave that was once believed to contain minerals. The park is known for its enclosed and open-air steel rollercoasters with three inversions, the steepest drop, adjustable vehicles; and an eight-storey drop tower and a freefall.
Must try: The Giant Barn Swing, which has two pendulum arms to launch you into the air!
Lionsgate MovieWorld, China
The world’s first vertical theme park will open in China this summer. A 10-story attraction will have 25 rides and virtual reality experience from the Lionsgate Studio universe. You will get to ride a motorcycle from Twilight or get a do-over at The Capitol lobby from The Hunger Games. You will also get to orchestrate a prison break with a group, with a climbing challenge course and crawl through tunnels to escape to freedom.
